A coin-sized amount on dry hands. Water dilutes the degreasing system and slows it down — the single most common mistake on the floor.

What managers ask

How fast does GRIPMAX actually clean?
About 30 seconds for typical industrial soils — 5 seconds to apply, 20 to scrub, 5 to rinse. Heavily embedded grime after a long shift may need a second short wash, which is still faster than what most workshops do today.
Our workers wash four or five times a shift. Is that safe?
That is the design case, not an edge case. GRIPMAX carries skin-conditioning actives, uses an MIT-free preservative system, and avoids petroleum distillates. Unlike petrol or kerosene it will not cause the progressive dryness and cracking that comes from repeated solvent exposure.
What types of grime does it remove?
Engine grease, transmission and hydraulic oil, carbon soot, brake fluid, cutting oils, lubricants, printing inks, paint, adhesives, bitumen and crude residue. If you have an unusual soil — a specific release agent or resin system — send us a sample and we will test against it.
How is this different from washing with petrol or kerosene?
Petrol and kerosene strip the skin's natural oil barrier, which causes dryness, cracking and eventually contact dermatitis. They are also a genuine fire risk in an open container on a workshop floor. GRIPMAX cleans at comparable speed while conditioning skin, with no flammability risk in normal use.
Does it contain plastic microbeads?
No. The abrasives are natural volcanic pumice and crushed walnut shell — a mineral and an agricultural by-product, both biodegradable. Plastic scrubbers were never in the formulation.
Will it block our drains or affect effluent treatment?
The cleansing system is readily biodegradable and the abrasives are natural solids that settle rather than persist. For sites with a specific effluent consent condition, ask for the Safety Data Sheet and we will go through the relevant parameters with your EHS team.
Can we get a free sample before committing to bulk?
Yes, and we prefer it. Share your facility details and the grime you deal with, and we ship a trial sample within two to three working days so your team can test it properly.
